This is one of my current favorites in the shop. One of these days I'll perfect my hotrod flames, but in the meantime, I'm pleased with the way this blot turned out. You can also see it in our shop here. Hopefully, we can get some full sized blots framed and show them off soon. Robo Chicken is on display at Vintage 965 where he is strutting his stuff right up front!
In other news, we just sold these babies:
These were carefully sliced from a salvaged bicycle handle grip. We coated them with some poly to help make them more durable. I think they have a lovely shape. Feel free to leave us a few comments and opinions on them. We're still trying to decide if we want to make more. Peace out people and have a great week!

Those are great! I would buy those.
Oh cool! Gear earrings. I have tons of things like that in my shop. =}
um, actually they aren't gears. They are cross sections from a rubber handle bar grip. :)
Those are cool! Are they very heavy? I like them, you should make more :)
I think those are great! Industrial looking, yet probably light and somewhat flexible. If you could find similar grips from kids bikes, you could have sorts of colors!
Very cool! I've added you to my blog.
:)
they're very light :) They're rubber, and are a little flexible, but we've stiffened them with poly because as rubber ages, it becomes brittle and we don't want anyone flexing their earrings and cracking them.
thanks for all of the comments. I guess we'll have to make a few more. :)
Those earrings are terribly groovy! I'd buy that!
I LLLLLLOOOOOVVVVEEEEEE them! And I love the idea of bright colors from kid bike grips!
Love these! You definitely should make more of them & I agree with texastesla on how to find multiple colors :)
Cool! I love seeing other people's recycled jewelry. The handle bar grip earrings are really unique.
i think you should make more...i think they're great!
What a beautiful blog and what lovely jewelry. I really like the space you've carved out for yourself in the world.
I've added you to my blogroll and look forward to keeping up with you. I'll come back and visit often, particularly when I need a moment of serenity.
Best wishes,
Diana
