Dearest reader, I know we've always kept our more personal and professional experiences to ourselves, but in light of recent events, we felt the need to share. On Tuesday, our office was closed forever without warning and Michael and I now find ourselves jobless along with all of our beloved former coworkers. Luckily, we're both fairly level headed and decent with saving money (Thanks Dad. I get it from you.), so we'll be alright for a while. We hope that you will keep us in your prayers while we feverishly update our resumes and build the portfolio sites that honestly should have been done years ago. We may be absent from the blog for a while, but if anyone has an opening for a Graphic Designer or an Interactive Flash App Developer, both with experience working with one of the largest social networking platforms - let us know.
Lani Mathis
Graphic Designer
Michael Ayers
Senior Application Developer

We'll be sure to link to the new portfolio sites when they're finished. Until then- peace out.

I am sooo sorry to hear about ya'll losing your jobs. I was laid off in August, but luckily my husband is still working.
Good luck...and with your experience I'm sure you'll have no problems finding a job.
Thanks very much for the good vibes Melissa and good luck to you too. I guess we all need to be crossing our fingers for everyone right about now.
Lani, the last few years have been fantastic. You and Michael are two of the most talented, inventive and adaptable people that I have ever known.
I have enjoyed working with both of you more than words can say and I'm trying very hard right now to find some company or project that would allow us all to continue to work together.
My biggest worry at this point is that you two will get jobs before I manage to make that happen. You are that talented.
Hopefully you two are coming over on Tuesday?
Best,
Don
I don't think I've ever commented before (although you are bookmarked in my "favorites" and I've followed your blog for a long time.)
I'm sorry about the news. My best to you!
Thank you very much Janet (and Don :)
We're doing ok so far and hope to be up and blogging again soon. Thank you for following us through the madness!
