We often run into a dilema with our Ink Blots. First of all, we currently only sell originals, so all of our time and effort is poured into one possible sale. Secondly, we get way too attached to some of the blots and refuse to let them go. Thirdly... ok, so I don't have a thirdly. We have a poll on our sidebar to judge how much interest there might be in offering the Ink Blot collection as individual prints in the shop. Please help us out by giving your honest opinion. Thanks :)

I love the idea of ink blot prints :) If you print them on high post-consumer content paper & package them with Kraft paper envelopes (which are 100%) you can still keep it "green" =D

Can I make a suggestion? If you offered them on different colors of paper, you'd have a great variety... something for everyone. For some reason, I think they'd look cool on bright aqua blue.
Thanks for the kind words everyone! Of course you may suggest Kellybot! That's a good idea. I hadn't thought about switching the paper. Is it still a print of the original then? We may try this with screen printing someday on clothing (I think the different colored backgrounds would be great!), but I haven't the faintest idea of how to screen print!
Why do you consider them "not" original or have I misinterpreted you.
You would be hard pushed to repeat, accidental yes, unihibited yes. But great fun and I hope to try some out myself.

By "originals" we are speaking of the actual piece of art created by applying pen on paper by hand. "Prints" would be copies of the original piece of art produced on a home printer and would be offered for a much cheaper price.
The images themselves are "original", but the prints would merely be reproductions.
I see what you are saying about being hard press to repeat. We do use many of the same shapes and patterns in each drawing, and consider that to be ok. :)
