Another Ink Blot has come to stay with us! This one is our submission to Illustration Friday for "multiple" because of all of it's hidden imagery. Everyone sees something different in it. (One of our readers kindly posted in the comments that she saw a peacock, a pinecone, a heart, a feather, and a leaf! ) The intentional multiples however, are a face (the mouth is pointing left and an eye looking right), and botanical remnants (seeds, flowers, leaves, and stems).
It's a bit larger than some of our others and came out nicely. Due to our process, we never know what size they will be when we begin. We always start on large paper or bristol and allow the ink to carry us where it will. When we feel like it is complete, we crop it to a pleasing size. Most of them stay around 5in x 7in, but on this one we got a little carried away!

Awesome artwork, I admire you for your talents.
I love this!! When I first saw it, I thought the name was just beyond cool, but when I clicked just a second ago, I caught 4 or 5 more pictures within the picture.
It is definitely an inkblot!! (I found a peacock, a pinecone, a heart, a feather.. a leaf)
What a beautiful ink blot! The line quality is lovely.
thank you so much everyone!!
Elegantly rendered--I'm wowed!
That's gorgeous!
Mmmmm peacock eye! Has such a textile repeated design feel....very inspring¡
Wow - love the sensuality of this piece. Very "ripe".
Very much like the strong graphic feel to this as well as the movement.
